Our Kind of Music review by Nelson's Notes

All the numbers of this Gary Williams concert were Sinatra classics although Gary did go to great lengths at the outset to say that he was not a Sinatra impersonator. This he is not. He possesses a very distinctive style of his own with a clear voice and very personal way of interpreting lyrics of the master composers. Added to which is an exceptionally pleasing personality. There is little doubt that if Gary Williams had been around in the middle part of the last century he would have been rated alongside Matt Monro as the outstanding British singer of good music.
