Birgitta Kenyon originally trained as a classical musician at the Royal Academy, studying conducting and accompaniment. She's a prolific composer, choral mentor and musical director and has worked extensively as a live presenter, including two Youth Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.

Coming from a musical family she played for her father, a counter-tenor, many times. Only later in life did she combine her talents and embrace the cabaret world. Her act “A Girl Called Fred” combines her talent for humour and musicianship to dazzling effect.

She continues to share her love of music with The Voice Squad her singing school for children from 3-19 years old.
