***** In Tune Magazine ***** Big Band World
It’s been 70 years since Frank Sinatra made his first recording and thanks to a new generation of singers, “swing” and “easy listening” is bigger than ever. In “That’s Life” Gary Williams and his musicians invite you to celebrate the very best of the Great American Songbook. From the classics of Sinatra, Nat “King” Cole and Andy Williams to the new wave of swing hits from Rod Stewart and Michael Bublé.
“And not only is he a brilliant singer, he also puts the audience at ease. A lot of artists are not good at being themselves when not singing – Gary is as relaxed chatting as he is singing, and he’s funny too. Don’t miss him!” Michael Darvell, What's On
“This wasn’t an impersonation of Sinatra, but Gary Williams being Gary Williams – a thoroughly charming, likable, charismatic individual with a dazzling smile and personality.” Bournemouth Echo

“A true song stylist” (London What's On)
Star of the West End's “Rat Pack” Gary Williams first came to public attention when he appeared with the BBC Big Band on television paying tribute to Vic Damone. Since then he has become a favourite performer and broadcaster with leading big bands and concert orchestras including the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, the Hallé and the Melbourne Symphony. Other work includes a concert for The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace, The Magic of Bacharach, The Legend of Sinatra (with David Jacobs), Channel 5's Open House with Donny Osmond and Burt Bacharach, and BBC1's 'Doctor Who Christmas Special'. His latest two albums, a tribute to Sinatra and a “best of” his Abbey Road recordings, have just been released, prompting Oscar winning lyricist Don Black to say “In a world of Pop Idol mediocrity Gary Williams shines like a dazzling beacon.”
