I'm Coming Home for Christmas EP

CD

It’s always the most wonderful time of the year when Gary Williams releases a new CD. His new Christmas disc features five big-band tracks and promises to be a fixture in your festive playlist.

The infectious title track, written by Gary and Jon Nickoll, “I’m Coming Home for Christmas” captures this year’s mood of reuniting with loved ones at this special time of year. It’s followed by the Andy Williams classic “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and three more big band favourites: White Christmas and I'll Be Home for Christmas arranged by Jon Shenoy and What Are You Doing New Year's Eve, arranged by Phil Steel.

Get into the Christmas spirit this year with Gary Williams and his big band.

It’s been a while since we heard from Gary Williams on a new recording, but he has gifted us a lovely little EP for 2021. Five tracks: ‘I’m Coming Home for Christmas’, ‘The Most Wonderful Time of the Year’, ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’, ‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?’ and ‘White Christmas’. The title track is one written by Williams with his co-writer Jon Nickoll. It is all the more poignant because he wrote it for his family, who he hasn’t seen at Christmas for quite a number of years, as he is always working. This year will be different though and he will be home for Christmas, and I am sure he will have a wonderful time. Williams obviously loves Christmas songs and this is evident in his unique renditions, inspired by crooners such as Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Andy Williams. Another wonderful recording Gary – thanks.
